Are you ready for fall? I sure am. Hands-down it's my favorite season. I love the shifting quality of the autumnal light and the sleepy, relaxed vibe of the garden as it gets ready to slumber. I especially enjoy watching the graceful demise of plants that I've chosen for my garden based on their ability to add interest to the garden over the long haul.

In today's post I'm featuring some of my favorite combinations from the site—these vignettes deliver the holy grail of garden-making: low-maintenance gardens that look good year-round! Some even have planting plans included!
