Sneak Peak: Beyond Pinterest Presentation
Like
I'm in the midst of preparing a couple of presentations for talks I'll be giving this year at various garden events. So I've been thinking a lot about how to best communicate about the art and science of combining plants—trying to articulate what I'm thinking about as I create plant combinations for my garden, client gardens, and for the eGardenGo site.

One of the concepts I cogitate on is this notion of how to help people get over the hump of admiring a gorgeous garden photo and then figuring out what ideas they can glean from it to use in their own gardens.

This video blocks out one segment and an example of how I think about it:
This presentation is still in draft form and I'll be noodling on it for a while yet. I'll be giving this talk on Friday, February 9th at the Northwest Flower and Garden Show in Seattle. Perhaps I'll see you there? I sure hope so.

If a trip to Seattle's not in the cards for you, worry not, as I'll be working to create lots of interesting and inspiring new content for the site in the coming months and providing lots of opportunities for you to engage with it.
Happy day to you,
P. S. The planting combination featured in the video is on the eGardenGo site and you can find it HERE.
